News- David Black
Photographer/Director/Cinematographer David Black just finished shooting video for Smirnoff’s new campaign with JWT (Jeremy & Claire Weiss photographed). He also shot publicity images for Epitaph artist Frank Turner, a new video for Au Revoir Simone (coming soon!), and has been shooting an ongoing project for Sony with Music artist Joshua Bell.

News- Seth Smoot
Still life + Portrait Photographer, Seth Smoot worked with CITY MAGAZINE on two shoots this month and shot the Pearl Oyster Bar in the West Village for MANHATTAN MAGAZINE.

Elizabeth Weinberg + Ashley Furnival

News- Lauren Dukoff
Photographer Lauren Dukoff hasn’t stopped! She recently shot the band One Eskimo for Shangri La, Joe Henry for Epitaph, Lukas Haas and Devendra Banhart for his upcoming release. She photographed the Dum Dum Girls for DAZED & CONFUSED and worked with Wasteland in L.A. on a fashion shoot. She also shot Animal Collective for the cover of FILTER MAGAINE!

News- Shirley Kurata
Wardrobe stylist, Shirley Kurata worked with Elijah Wood for Corduroy Magazine, some behind the scenes photos, etc on Corduroy Magazine’s Blog! Shirley also worked on a commercial with the incredibly talented director Yael Staav, more details to come!
News- Aaron Ruell

News -Michael Schmelling
Photographer/Director Michael Schmelling has been working with Anomaly in New York on an assignment for Illy Issimo’s “Moments in Line” blog. So far he’s shot the lines at the Hampton Jitney and Taste of the Upper West Side. Check it out here http://illyissimo.com/us/issimo-moments. He also worked with DETAILS, shot some short videos & an editorial assignment for WIRED, S MAGAZINE, London’s SUNDAY TELEGRAPH, and a new Op Ed illustration for the NEW YORK TIMES. Michael worked with the kind folks at Addison on an annual report shoot for ITT Corp. The book party for THE PLAN (J+L Books) at Aperture Gallery on May 20th was a big hit and lots of fun. THE PLAN is a finalist in the Best Photography Books of the Year competition at Photo Espana in Madrid and included in an exhibition of the same name that runs from June 4th to July at Matadero Madrid. MUSIC + ART + NEIGHBORHOOD =
Giant Artists and Filter team up with Lucky Brand to present the first ever Lucky Brand Neighborhood Social Series!

The event kicks off at Lucky Brand’s Santa Monica, CA, Third Street Promenade store on Sunday, June 14th from 3-7pm, with an intimate performance by Bat For Lashes and featuring works by Giant Artists. Giant Artists’ Blake E. Marquis will be custom screen printing and there will be denim painting by William Lemon III. Special guests include DJ’s Jimmy Tamborello (Dntel & The Postal Service) and Jason Bentley of KCRW. Los Angeles-based artist, Florencio Zavala will be creating a live installation on-site.
