NEWS: WILLIAM LEMON III
Body Painter, Screen Printer, Artiste William Lemon III just completed work on videos for Yeasayer and Imaad Wasif (directed by our own Jess Holzworth). We are very proud to announce a unique collaboration between Citizens of Humanity and Will, who have joined forces to create unique hand washed and dyed screen painted t shirts. This offering launches the COH artist collaboration series for Spring 2010. Will Lemon has been screen printing for over 10 years. He explains how it started for him, “When I first started screen printing I was just experimenting and trying to “screen-paint” instead of “screen-print”. By using this screen painting technique, the prints create a hand crafted color-blending factor, and the shirts take on a one of a kind sensibility as a result.”
